
Recioto della Valpolicella DOCG
Recioto is produced from grapes from an old vineyard harvested in September and left to rest in 5 kg crates in a ventilated environment for about 130 days.
After pressing and fermentation, the wine is aged for thirty months in 225-liter barrels. The result is a wine with a high sugar concentration and an intense ruby red color, strong aromas of jam on the nose, distinct balsamic notes on the palate, chocolate, vanilla and spices, cinnamon in particular. Sweet and full-bodied in the mouth, decidedly persistent.
