Privacy Policy<\/h2>\n

Under Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016\/679 (GDPR), this policy explains which personal data the website www.cantinasancassiano.it collects, why, and how it is processed.<\/p>\n

2. Data processed, purposes and legal basis<\/h3>\n

a) Browsing data.<\/strong> The server hosting the website automatically records some technical data: IP address, browser and device type, date and time of the visit, pages requested and referring page. This data is used to run the website and protect it from misuse and attacks (legal basis: the controller’s legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). It is not used to identify or profile visitors.<\/p>\n

b) Contact and tasting booking forms.<\/strong> If you write to us through the forms on the Contact and Tastings pages, we process your name, email address and the content of your message. We use them only to answer your request and, where asked, to arrange your visit or tasting (legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Providing this data is optional, but without it we cannot reply.<\/p>\n

c) Direct contact.<\/strong> If you email or call us directly, we process the data you give us in order to reply, on the same legal basis as point b).<\/p>\n

3. Cookies and third-party services<\/h3>\n

The website uses technical cookies needed for it to work (for example, to remember your language and the choices made in the cookie banner). These do not require consent.<\/p>\n

The Contact page includes a Google Maps<\/strong> map (Google Ireland Limited). The map loads only if you accept cookies in the banner; until then a placeholder is shown. Once loaded, Google may collect your IP address and set its own cookies, under its own privacy policy (policies.google.com\/privacy<\/a>).<\/p>\n

The website does not use statistics or advertising cookies. You can change or withdraw your choices at any time from the Cookie Policy<\/a> page, which also lists the cookies.<\/p>\n

4. Recipients<\/h3>\n

Data may be processed on the controller’s behalf, and only for the purposes above, by the hosting provider (Serverplan S.r.l.) and by V.L.S. Solution S.r.l., which provides technical maintenance of the website, appointed as data processors. We do not sell or hand over data to third parties. Data may be disclosed to authorities only where required by law.<\/p>\n

5. Transfers outside the European Union<\/h3>\n

Website data is stored on servers located in the European Union. If you accept the Google Maps map, Google may transfer data to the United States. Google participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, recognised as adequate by the European Commission.<\/p>\n
