
Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG
“Amarone” is made from carefully selected grapes that are hand-picked and left to dry naturally for about one hundred days; after crushing and slow fermentation at a controlled temperature, the wine is aged for about thirty months in oak barrels. Subsequent bottle aging for at least one year.
Intense ruby red color with light garnet hues. On the nose, hints of fruit primarily currants, blackberries and black cherries.
On the palate there are pleasant balsamic and spicy notes along with tobacco, coffee and leather.”
